Windows 10 Replacement

Don't bin good computers.
Refresh them.

Plenty of office computers still run well but can't upgrade to Windows 11. For staff who mostly use a web browser, email and office documents, a supported Linux desktop can keep those machines secure for years, with no Windows licence to buy.

$249 per computer · 3-computer minimum · On-site in Lower Sackville & Halifax
Why Refresh Instead of Replace

Keep working hardware in service

Windows 10 support has ended, and many business computers that still run fine are blocked from Windows 11 by hardware requirements. Replacing them all at once is expensive and wasteful when the work they do happens mostly in a browser.

  • ✓No Windows licence to buy: A long-term-supported Linux desktop is free to use and receives security updates for years.
  • ✓Security updates keep coming: Automatic updates are switched on, and disks are encrypted where the hardware supports it.
  • ✓Familiar day-to-day work: The same web browsers, email and office documents your staff already use, with a 30-minute walkthrough for each person.
  • ✓We check first: A suitability check comes before any work, so a computer that needs Windows-only software stays on Windows or gets replaced.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about moving office computers to Linux.

Will staff find it hard? +

Usually not. Most day-to-day work happens in a web browser, email and office documents, and that looks and feels familiar. Every user gets a 30-minute walkthrough, and the 30-day fix-it period covers any settling-in problems.

Can you still manage it under an IT plan? +

Yes. Refreshed Linux computers get the same monitoring and updates as the rest of your computers under any of our IT plans.

What if one app needs Windows? +

Keep one Windows machine for that task, or run the app in a browser or a remote session where the vendor supports it. We check for Windows-only software during the suitability check, before any work starts.
